Refunds & Cancellation
How to cancel, what happens to a payment that has already been taken, and how we decide a refund request. No blanket promises we cannot keep.
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to payments for subscriptions to the LMBYW managed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) / Website-as-a-Service (WaaS) platform and related website service. It also applies to separately agreed setup, development or other implementation fees where those are charged.
It should be read together with our Terms of Service.
2. Cancelling is not the same as a refund
Cancelling your subscription stops future renewals. It does not automatically reverse a payment that has already been taken.
When you cancel, access to the managed platform and related website service continues until the end of the billing period you have already paid for, and is not renewed after that. If you also want a payment refunded, tell us — that is a separate request, and section 3 explains how we handle it.
3. Requesting a refund
Email info@letmebuildyourwebsite.com or call 0962 098 7437. Include your business name, the payment you are asking about, and what went wrong. We will respond and tell you the outcome and our reasoning.
We review each request on its circumstances. We look at:
- What your agreement with us says
- The platform access, resources and related services already provided for that period
- How much of the billing period has already been used
- Any separately agreed implementation work already carried out
- Whether something went wrong on our side
- How quickly you raised it after the charge
- Any rights you have under applicable law
Where we have not delivered what we agreed, we will put it right — by fixing the problem, by a refund, or by a credit, depending on what makes sense.
4. Subscription periods already started
An LMBYW subscription provides access to an ongoing managed software and website platform. Once a billing period has begun, platform access, hosting, infrastructure, monitoring, maintenance and related resources or services may already have been provided or incurred. Payments for an already-started billing period are therefore not automatically refundable. We still review requests based on the specific circumstances and applicable law.
Separately agreed implementation, design, development, setup, migration or deployment fees may become non-refundable once the applicable work has begun, subject to your agreement and applicable law.
5. Refunds processed through Paddle
Where your payment was processed by Paddle, acting as Merchant of Record, an approved refund is issued through Paddle and returned to the original payment method. Timing depends on your bank or card issuer.
Those transactions are also covered by Paddle’s own buyer terms and refund policy. Paddle may, at its sole discretion, issue a refund where a request is submitted within 14 days of the transaction. A request within that period does not guarantee a refund. You can raise a request with Paddle directly as well as with us.
6. Failed payments
If a renewal payment fails, the payment provider retries it and contacts you. We do not suspend platform access or a managed website solely because of one failed payment. See section 7 of our Terms of Service for what happens if a payment stays unresolved.
7. What we do not offer
We want to be straight with you rather than promise something we have not committed to:
- We do not currently advertise a fixed money-back guarantee period
- We do not promise automatic prorated refunds for an unused part of a billing period
The absence of a blanket guarantee does not mean we refuse refunds. It means we look at your situation properly instead of applying a rule that would not fit every arrangement.
8. Your legal rights
Nothing in this policy removes or limits any right you have that cannot be waived by agreement, including mandatory consumer rights under Philippine law or under the law of the country where you live.
If those rights entitle you to a remedy this policy does not describe, those rights apply.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The current version is always published here with the date it was last updated. The version that applies to a payment is the one published when the payment was made.
