Privacy Notice
What we collect, why we collect it, who else touches it, and what you can ask us to do about it. Written plainly, because a privacy notice nobody reads protects nobody.
1. Who we are
Let Me Build Your Website (“LMBYW”, “we”, “us”) operates this website and provides a managed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) / Website-as-a-Service (WaaS) platform and related website services. We are based at B143 L21 Branco St., Brook Village, The Villages, Lima Estate, Lipa City, Batangas, Philippines.
For anything about your data, contact info@letmebuildyourwebsite.com or 0962 098 7437.
2. What we collect
Information you give us
- Business and contact details: business name, contact person, email address, phone number, business address
- Project material: text, images, logos, menus, prices and other content you send us for your website
- Messages and support requests submitted through the LMBYW client portal or other communication channels
Information we hold about your service
- Billing and subscription metadata: subscription status, renewal dates, the amounts agreed and charged, and the identifiers our payment provider gives us
- Client account and portal information: username, account role, authentication and session information, client and service association, and information needed to provide access to the client portal
Information collected automatically
- Website analytics from this site: pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how visitors arrived. We use Google Analytics for this
- Standard server and security logs
3. What we do not collect
We never receive or store your full card number or security code. Card details are entered directly with our payment provider and are handled entirely by them. We only see non-sensitive billing metadata such as whether a subscription is active and when it renews.
4. Why we process your information
- To provide access to, operate, maintain and support the LMBYW managed platform and related website service
- To bill you and keep your subscription status accurate
- To provide client portal functions and respond to messages and support requests
- To keep our systems and the websites we manage secure
- To understand how this website is used, so we can improve it
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
5. Who processes information for us
We use third-party providers to operate our platform and related services. Each one only receives what it needs to do its job:
- Paddle — payment processing and subscription billing. Paddle acts as Merchant of Record for orders processed through it and handles card data under its own privacy policy
- Hosting and infrastructure providers — serving and storing the websites we manage
- Domain registrars — where we register or manage a domain on your behalf
- Google Analytics — website usage statistics for this site
- Email providers — sending and receiving our correspondence with you
Some of these providers operate outside the Philippines.
6. Cookies and analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, which sets cookies to measure how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or use Google’s opt-out tools. Blocking them does not stop you using this website.
7. How we protect information
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect the information we hold, including encrypted connections, access controls and limiting who can reach client data.
No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. If a breach occurs that affects your data, we will act on it and notify you and the appropriate authority where the law requires.
8. How long we keep it
We keep information only for as long as it is needed to operate the platform and related services, meet our obligations, maintain security, or comply with legal, tax and accounting requirements.
- Website files and content: retained for a short period after a service ends so a departing client can request a copy, then deleted
- Client portal messages: retained temporarily and automatically deleted after approximately 30 days
- Account, business, billing and transaction records: retained while needed to operate the service and for as long as accounting, legal or tax requirements apply
- Correspondence outside the client portal: retained while it remains relevant to our relationship or another legitimate operational or legal purpose
If you want your data deleted sooner, contact us and we will do what we can, subject to records we are legally or operationally required to keep. We may retain particular records longer where needed for security, accounting, legal claims or dispute resolution.
9. When we share information
We do not sell your information. We share it only:
- With the providers listed in section 5, so they can perform their service
- Where we are required to by law, court order or a regulator
- To establish, exercise or defend a legal claim
- With your instruction or consent — for example, when transferring a domain to you
10. Your rights
Under the Data Privacy Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10173), you have rights over your personal information, including the right to:
- Be informed about how it is processed
- Access the personal information we hold about you
- Have inaccurate information corrected
- Object to certain processing
- Request erasure or blocking in the circumstances the law allows
- Obtain a copy of your data in a portable format
- Seek redress for a violation of your rights
To exercise any of these, email info@letmebuildyourwebsite.com. We may need to verify your identity first. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the National Privacy Commission.
11. Children
Our service is provided to businesses. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
12. Changes to this notice
We may update this notice as our service changes. The current version is always published here with the date it was last updated.
